Their 13th original album, their first in 5 years and 9 months since their previous work "AKIRA," is set to be released on September 9th (Wednesday)!!
A massive new album is about to be released. The album will include songs that Masaharu Fukuyama has released between 2021 and 2026, such as "Soubou" (theme song for the movie "Anohana ga Saku Oka de, Kimi to Mata Deaetara."), which has been a hit with a wide range of generations; "Jupiter feat. Inaba Koshi" (theme song for the movie "Last Man -FIRST LOVE-"), which caused a great stir with guest appearance by Koshi Inaba of B'z; "Genkai," an instrumental theme song written for the movie "Black Showman," in which he starred; "Banyu Inryoku" (theme song for the NTV information program "DayDay."), which is packed with musical experimentation; "Ryu" (theme song for the movie "Shin Kaishaku: Bakumatsu Den"), which strongly conveys the spirit of Fukuyama Masaharu Ryoma, whom Fukuyama himself played in a historical drama; and the newly released song "Hakushu Kassai" (theme song for the NTV drama "Tatsuki-sensei wa Amasugiru!"). In addition to these songs, the album will also include further unreleased tracks. This latest work, released 5 years and 9 months after his previous album, marks the current state of Fukuyama Masaharu, who has undergone tremendous evolution and deepening as a singer-songwriter.
The limited first edition [New-Recording Best Album 1990-1999] includes newly recorded studio live versions of representative hit songs from the 1990s, such as "HELLO," "All My Loving," "IT'S ONLY LOVE," "MELODY," and "Squall."
Featuring super musicians who have performed live with Fukuyama for many years, including Akira Inoue (Key), Hideo Yamaki (Dr), Kenji Takamizu (Ba), Tsuyoshi Ima (Gt), Hirokazu Ogura (Gt), Chieko Kanehara (Vl), and Takuo MUSICIANS (Sax), this album expresses the "latest is best" band sound. A best selection of his famous songs updated with the outstanding performances of these masters. In addition, it includes "Studio Live & Recording Documentary Footage" that closely follows the recording process for this new album.
