【story】
March 2005. A small town surrounded by mountains. A graduation ceremony was being held in the schoolyard of the children's home "Road of Hope." The ceremony was not held for the children, but for one of the staff members, Akayama Seiji (Kiritani Kenta), who had decided to leave the home to build a school in Cambodia.
Five children who had lost their smiles after being admitted to an orphanage due to abuse by their parents, lived with Akayama, a passionate staff member, on the "Road of Hope" for five years, and developed a bond that was deeper than that of a real parent and child. Akayama bursts into tears when he sees the children, who are not fortunate but have strong dreams for the future. That day, Akayama buries Time Capsule in the schoolyard, in which the children have written their dreams for the future and sealed it. "Humans can be anything. You are my dreams." The children who do not give up in the face of adversity and try to overcome the trials are truly "heroes" to Akayama. Thus, believing in the children's strong future, he leaves the "Road of Hope"... but immediately afterwards, Akayama suddenly disappears. What on earth happened to him! ? And 20 years later... when Akayama returns, he sees his students, who have lost their dreams and hopes and are standing on the brink of despair, completely changed...
