This work is a compilation of interviews and photographs excerpted from the "PlusAct" magazine series from 2014 to 2024.
This is a permanent collector's edition with an unmatched volume of 208 pages in total, including new photographs, the latest interviews, and round-table discussions.
The new shoot has two themes. The monochrome studio shoot focuses on Yuta Koseki as an individual who simply exists there.
We have created an impactful photograph that allows you to see a new side of the subject.
The location shoot on Izu Oshima captures a variety of expressions, from facing the stunning nature to life-sized travel poses.
■ Comment from Yuta Koseki
He has been interviewed for about 10 years, since he was 19 years old, and his journey has been compiled into a book.
Each shoot for Plus Act has a specific theme decided upon, and as the name Plus Act suggests, it's a fun magazine to take part in as you can act within the pages.
In the past, there were interviews related to her first photo book ("Yuutabi"), so in this archive book she also looks back on her memories of the time when she was making her first photo book, which was released when she was 20 years old.
Highlights include new content such as newly taken photographs and interviews about turning 30, but one of the most enjoyable features was the roundtable discussion with everyone who worked with me on my first photo book, with whom I still keep in touch.
Meeting these "adults" when I was 19 years old had a major influence on me in my 20s, and this project was essential in completing the archive book.
It was quite embarrassing to read the past interviews myself, but it really touched my heart.
It might be more interesting to look at it from the perspective of "the trajectory of one person's construction of values" rather than "that of one actor."
With this book as a starting point, I will start building an archive that I will be able to talk about again in the future.
