This work is a special edition to commemorate the milestone of turning 30 this year, and allows fans to look back on all eight calendars he has created in 2024, from his first calendar in 2016. Looking back at the calendars he created in his 20s, he attempted a theme of "reinterpretation," asking himself, "How would Koseki express this concept today?"
For example, there is a cut that pays homage to the memorable two-shot of Koseki with a bird that was featured in the 2017 calendar's theme, "Making." The calendar is sprinkled with elements that will allow fans who look forward to the calendar every year to feel nostalgic while also getting a sense of what Koseki is like today.
The photographer who helped us shoot this memorable calendar was Tsutomu Umezawa, who also shot the 2018 calendar. He captured a culmination of the expressiveness that Koseki developed in his twenties.
