【story】
Bakumatsu entertainment based on historical facts presented by a gorgeous star cast and Academy Award(R) staff. Run! Not to 'win', but to 'protect'.
The time is the Edo period, the end of the Edo period. Japan, which had been isolated to protect the country, was now shaken by the US government's messenger Perry, who was forced to open the country. Annaka feudal lord Katsuaki Itakura, who is dissatisfied with the shogunate, organizes an excursion (ruby) that runs a road of 15 ri (about 58 km) in order to train the feudal retainers. Hearing that the winner's wish can be fulfilled, the samurai started off with their own wishes, such as "I want to marry a princess," "I want to raise my status," and "I want to make another flower bloom." A conspiracy is underway.The shogunate chief saw the excursion as a "movement of rebellion" and sent out assassins to assassinate Katsuaki.And among the tournament participants, the only man who noticed this plan. His name is Karasawa Jinnai, a "shinobi" who spies on the clan under the orders of the shogunate.During his long infiltration life, he had a wife and children whom he loved here."Bakufu or clan?"
─While swayed by love and loyalty, Jinnai tells his friends of the crisis and decides to run to fight together.
