Igarashi Dai grew up lovingly in a small port town in Miyagi Prefecture with deaf parents. From an early age, interpreting for his mother was a normal, fun part of his daily life. But gradually, he became confused and irritated by being treated differently by those around him, and even his mother's cheerfulness became an annoyance. Feeling overwhelmed, he turned 20 and set off for Tokyo as if to run away...
