【story】
Doctor Akira Iwamori (Ryuhei Matsuda) takes his daughter to visit his wife's hometown, Uzukawamura, in search of his missing wife, Hitomi (Misako Renbutsu).
The village seemed to be thriving as preparations were made for the first festival in 12 years to be held to worship a god named "Eikichi." On the other hand, it was a space dominated by despair, where young people who were left behind from urban areas were filled with frustration.
Meanwhile, a sudden heavy rain hits and the village is isolated. Before long, a young man is murdered by someone and his body is found. As distrust and anxiety begin to cover the village, more murders occur. In addition to conflicts between blood relatives, the generational conflict between the youths and adults of the Seinendan, who had been accumulating resentment, intensified, and Iwamori was also drawn into the conflict.
The true nature of human beings that can be seen in extreme conditions. As Iwamori faces the turmoil in the village while searching for his wife's whereabouts, he eventually comes face-to-face with himself and his past... The culprit of the serial murder case will be revealed, and what is the secret of the village hidden behind it...!? ?
