【story】
It was April 2122. Miyabi Kusakabe (Anna Yamada), a history enthusiast aspiring to become a historian, was about to enter Ginkgo High School. On her way to school, Miyabi helped some elementary school students who were being bullied, but the students muttered, "There's no way we could win against so many of them." Miyabi tried to reason with them using the words of the Sengoku warlord Oda Nobunaga, saying, "There is absolutely no such thing as absolute certainty," but the students didn't know who Oda Nobunaga was. In this era, history classes covering the period before the Meiji Restoration had been abolished, and unless you were a history buff like Miyabi, there was no way to know about Nobunaga's existence.
Upon arriving at school, Miyabi meets the upperclassmen and introduces herself, saying she will be joining the advanced class. However, upon hearing "advanced class," their expressions change, and they snatch Miyabi's bag and throw it over the wall. Behind them, a man (Ren Nagase) walks by, holding a dried persimmon.
When Miyabi returned to the main gate, she found the upperclassmen she had seen earlier lying on the ground. One of the men among them said, "I'm Oda Nobunaga," and revealed that he was in the advanced class. Miyabi couldn't hide her surprise at the name Oda Nobunaga, but she found herself captivated by his appearance...
Then, a small, monkey-faced student appears. It's Toyotomi Hideyoshi. He touches Miyabi's body while expressing concern about her injuries, showing he has a weakness for women. Then, Takeda Shingen, Date Masamune, Uesugi Kenshin, Akechi Mitsuhide, and Kuroda Kanbei arrive one after another... It turns out they are clone high school students of famous Sengoku warlords!
Meanwhile, the students are gathered in the hall. The members of the advanced class line up in the front row, while the other students glare at them. To the hot-blooded students, Chairman Beppu no Kami Yotaro declares that they will determine the strongest person at Ginkgo High School, and the "Banner Battle" begins! In the Banner Battle, each student raises a banner with the name of the person they want to defeat written on it, and if they win, they earn points for that opponent. The person who earns the most points will earn the right to fight the "top" student, the school president. The next day, a banner is raised that reads, "Defeat Takeda Shingen within two hours"...!?
