[STORY]
A trip from Tokyo to the Lake District in England to fulfill his late wife's wish
Akiko, the beloved wife of Oshima Kenzaburo, a writer in his 60s, has passed away after a long battle with illness.
Kanesaburo, devastated by an unfillable sense of loss, receives a letter that Akiko had entrusted to the head priest of the temple.
It contained Akiko's final wish, that her ashes be scattered in Lake Windermere in England, which she loved.
In order to fulfill his father's will, Kanesaburo travels to England with his long-estranged son Kei, his wife Satsuki, and their four-year-old granddaughter Emi.
However, Kanesaburo and Kei had a grudge against each other and clashed at every opportunity. Kanesaburo left London alone for the Lake District.
Along the way, I lost my way...
