【story】
A murder case that occurred in Tokyo. The culprit is unknown. The prosecutors in charge of the case are the elite prosecutor of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office, Mogami, and the fledgling prosecutor, Okino, who has been assigned to the criminal department.
The best is to aim at one man from among multiple suspects and relentlessly hunt down. The man, Matsukura, was an important reference for the unsolved murder case that had reached the statute of limitations in the past. Okino, who looks up to the best as a teacher, tries to investigate to make the victim confess, but Matsukura continues to deny the crime and can not get any response.
Eventually, Okino begins to question the best investigation policy. "Mr. Mogami is trying to make Matsukura a criminal, isn't he?"
Two prosecutors who are in conflict for each other's justice. What was the final decision awaiting their battle?
