I want to make every child an adult, that's it.
Set in the world of pediatric surgeons, a moving medical human drama that envelops the warmth of a young man with Savant syndrome who has amazing abilities all over Japan!
【story】
Morning commuting time. Minato Shindo (Kento Yamazaki) is swayed by the first bus to work. A wood carving scalpel was held in his hand.
Around that time, a meeting was being held at the Togo Memorial Hospital, where Natsumi Seto (Ueno Juri), a pediatric surgeon, works. Seiji Takayama (Naohito Fujiki), the chief of pediatric surgery, also attended there. The agenda is improvement measures such as labor cost reduction. Keisuke Mamiya (Shigeyuki Totsugi), the chief of pediatric surgery, who was pointed out by the chairman Michi Togo (Yuri Nakamura) as unprofitable, screams when there are not enough staff. Although Takayama is in the red, the number of pediatric wards is decreasing, and he argues that their department is the last bastion of children. Hospital director Akira Shiga (Akira Emoto), who agrees with Takayama's opinion, tells that he will invite a new resident to the understaffed pediatrics department from today. Deputy Director Ryunosuke Inoguchi (Itao Itsuji) silently listened to the opinions of both parties.
Resident is Minato. He had graduated from college at the top, but Shiga suggested that there was only one problem. Minato had an autism spectrum disorder. Despite being opposed by doctors, Shiga highly appreciates Minato's ability as a doctor, who also has Savant syndrome.
An accident occurred when Minato got off the bus. When I see it, my child is injured and collapses. A passing doctor examines the condition, but Minato stops his procedure and gives first aid himself. An ambulance arrives when Minato finishes treating her child. Minato wants to hurry to the hospital where he goes to work for the first time, but he will accompany his child.
At Togo Memorial Hospital, Natsumi was informed by the ER that she would accept children. From the ambulance that arrived, Minato appears with the child's stretcher.
