【story】
August 18, 1945, three days after Japan accepted the Potsdam Declaration and unconditionally surrendered. Suddenly, a large Soviet unit attacked Takedahama, a disarmament island. Ensign Katsushiro Komiya (Morisaki Hiroyuki), who decided that the Soviet army would invade Hokkaido from Nemuro, Sergeant Sergeant Mizushima (Yo Oizumi), who decided to sortie with a renewed feeling, and Shozo Yano, a maintenance soldier who raised the flag of the spirit.
