【story】
Ghouls vs. humans: A fierce battle action where two worlds collide!
Tokyo is home to ghouls, monsters who have the appearance of humans but feed on them. One day, Kaneki, an ordinary college student, is involved in an incident and receives an organ transplant from Rize, a ghoul, turning him into a half-ghoul. In his grief, Kaneki begins working at Anteiku, a cafe frequented by ghouls. There, he meets high school girls Touka and her friends and learns that ghouls also have families and friends to protect. Meanwhile, human investigators Amon and Mado appear in an effort to eradicate the ghouls, and Kaneki becomes embroiled in a fierce battle.
The young man is conflicted and doubtful about the existence of ghouls who steal and eat human lives to survive, and he searches for the ideal world. What will the future hold for him?
