The story's new setting is Osaka.
Having almost seized control of Japan, Hashiba Hideyoshi (Fumiyo Kohinata) was demanding submission from all the daimyo across the country. Tokugawa Ieyasu (Masaaki Uchino) and Hojo Ujimasa (Masahiro Takashima) were also forced to make difficult decisions in the face of Hideyoshi's overwhelming power. Entering the immensely large Osaka Castle, Nobushige (Masato Sakai) meets Chacha (Yuko Takeuchi) and Ishida Mitsunari (Koji Yamamoto), and witnesses Hideyoshi's rise to power firsthand.
