【story】
Takuji Kameoka (Ken Yasuda), 37 years old and single. He is an actor who mainly plays supporting roles. Thief, thug, homeless person... there are countless roles he has played. He is loved by directors and staff, and is said to be the "strongest supporting actor" who brings miracles to the set. He will go wherever he is called, and he will not turn down a job if possible. In his private life, he lives a modest life, enjoying drinking alone. One night, while on location in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, Kameoka was dozing off at the counter of the izakaya "Murota" that he had never been to before. When he was woken up by a cold draft, he saw a beautiful young female proprietress. Her name is Azumi (Aso Kumiko). While munching on agar, a local specialty, Kameoka is completely soothed by her witty conversation. "If you ever feel lonely, please come and drink again" - Kameoka falls in love with Azumi, who smiles gently. The sweet time was short-lived, and he was once again busy flying from Tokyo to the countryside for location shoots and filming studios. He also attended rehearsals for the Yokoza theater company for his first stage job. One day, Kameoka received a big opportunity. Alan Spesso, a world-renowned director whom he admires, came to Japan in secret and he was invited to audition for his new work.
What will become of Kametaku's once-in-a-lifetime love? And will this be his first foray into overseas?
