[Synopsis]
Kohei Tsukuda (Hiroshi Abe), a former researcher at the Space Science Development Organization, is now living his second life as a manager at a factory in the downtown area left by his father. Tsukuda Seisakusho is doing well and gradually improving its business performance, although it has a little bit of a relationship with its daughter, Rina (Tao Tsuchiya). However, he put too much effort into the development of the rocket engine, which is his dream that he cannot give up, and his business performance is gradually declining. One day, Keihin Machinery, a major customer, suddenly declared the transaction to be canceled. Tsukuda, who lost a large customer and was in need of cash flow, headed for Tonomura (Tatekawa Danshun), the general manager of the accounting department, and Shiramizu Bank, the main bank, in order to secure working capital, but hydrogen has no prospect of practical use from the bank. It is said that it is difficult to make a new loan if the engine is to be continuously developed. Tsukuda and his friends were at a loss due to the reluctance to lend from the main bank, but there was a new problem. It was sued by rival company Nakashima Kogyo for patent infringement. Although it is an innocent and innocent Tsukuda Seisakusho, its reputation has fallen to the ground due to the fact that it is being sued by a major company, and the loan from the bank is in a desperate state. Nakashima Kogyo, which aims at Tsukuda Seisakusho's technology, prolongs the trial with a sloppy court strategy and gradually deprives it of physical strength. Meanwhile, a large Japanese company, Teikoku Heavy Industries, was working hard on a purely domestic rocket project, but it turned out that the valve system developed in-house touched the product patent owned by Tsukuda Seisakusho. What is the action taken by the former director of the Aerospace Department (Koji Kikkawa) who must solve the problem of the valve system?
