The physical release of the first single to celebrate the 15th anniversary of SEKAI NO OWARI's debut has been decided. This luxurious double A-side single includes "Kohaku", the theme song for the movie "The Boy and the Dog", and "Zukan", the theme song for the animated film "Alice in Wonderland -Dive in Wonderland-".
"Amber" is the theme song for the movie "A Boy and a Dog" released in March 2025, and when Fukase accepted the offer, a song came to his mind, which prompted the song's creation. The song was played for Fukase by Ryutaro Chiba, a friend of Fukase's and bassist of Shinsekai Lithium, even before he joined SEKAI NO OWARI. After that, Chiba passed away in an accident, and the song was left unfinished, but Fukase added a new melody to the song his friend left behind, wrote the lyrics, and completed "Amber."
"Illustrated Book" was composed by Nakajin and written by Saori as the theme song for the animated film "Alice in Wonderland -Dive in Wonderland-," which will be released on Friday, August 29, 2025. The fantastical lyrics and the nostalgic melody combine to invite the listener into the world of the song, as if turning the pages of a picture book.
