【story】
Kenshin arrives in Kyoto to stop Shishio, who is trying to conquer Japan, and confronts his group, but Shishio is about to attack Tokyo in the ironclad Rengoku. Shishio has kidnapped Kaoru, but Kenshin jumps into the sea to save her, and is washed up on the shore alone, where he is picked up by his master, Hiko Seijuro. Kenshin begs Seijuro to teach him his secret techniques, saying that he cannot defeat Shishio in his current state.
Meanwhile, Shishio, who found out that Kenshin was still alive, pressured the government and ordered that Kenshin be publicly beheaded for the assassination he committed during his time as a killer. Will Kenshin, now facing his greatest crisis, be able to overcome his most vicious enemy and meet his missing Kaoru again alive?
