The release of the first “yabai” original album in 31 years has been decided!
◆ Only female member of the SOUTHERN ALL STARS. Yuko Hara, who is a keyboardist, vocalist, chorus, and arranger, and who is the musical and spiritual pillar of the band, has released an original album for the first time in 31 years since "MOTHER" released in 1991.
◆The title of the 4th original album, following "A Moment Talked by Yuko Hara" (1981), "Miss YOKOHAMADULT YUKO HARA 2nd" (1983), and "MOTHER" (1991), is "Portrait of Women". of a Lady)”. Studio production work for this work, which was inspired by Klimt's painting, began in July 2021, in the midst of the corona disaster. With the full support of Keisuke Kuwata, who has survived his 44-year music career together with him as a "comrade in arms" and "comrade in music", he has refined his flexible and colorful musicality and ambitious and experimental sound make-up. It has become a work that boldly revamps the public image of “Yuko Hara”, who is gentle and soft.
As a musician, and as a woman who has struggled with the times while traveling through a rapidly changing society, this album strongly expresses her "true feelings" that she has expressed through her single-minded devotion to music.
A total of 10 new songs are scheduled to be recorded in this work, and the new song "Yabaine Aitee Yakoha" written and composed by Keisuke Kuwata will start broadcasting on NHK General from July 12 (Tuesday). Selected as the theme song for drama 10 "Prism".
