"Oshie Hagoita" is a traditional craft that Akihito Okano often buys as a souvenir from Japan when he goes to Spain.
He personally suggested, "Why don't we make some pornographic merchandise?" and now, collaboration products have been made!
The design of the oshie is based on the actual oshie battledore, and features illustrations of the two members drawn specifically for this product. The colors and patterns of the fabric for the oshie were chosen from those actually used.
The back of the board is designed with the words "Poland's Graffiti" in hiragana. Just like the fabric for the oshie, the board is made from actual paulownia wood.
This product is made by hand by traditional craftsmen using the same process as regular oshie hagoita, with the fabric carefully folded even in places that are not visible, and each section and part glued together with exquisite balance, making it a product that shows the artisan's attention to detail and the precision and beauty of a traditional craft item.
Hagoita is a traditional auspicious craft that is said to "ward off evil spirits (feathers)" and "bring good fortune and prosperity (feathers)."
