【story】
Onizuka (Takashi Sorimachi) returns to the classroom! What awaits him there are students obsessed with tablets and a "teacher feedback system" that threatens his teaching career! The "Great Teacher's" new lessons begin!
Eikichi Onizuka (Takashi Sorimachi), whose contract as a temporary employee at the private Shōtoku Gakuin High School was terminated, has since been fired from every school he's worked at, and now spends his days cooking meals for his wife, Azusa Fuyutsuki (Nanako Matsushima), while waiting for her to come home.
Then, Azusa, utterly disgusted with her husband, urges him to find a new job as soon as possible, and further confronts him with the question, "What exactly is this 'Great Teacher' you're talking about?"
Onizuka rushes to interviews, but his past experience works against him, and he is rejected by every school.
At that time, Onizuka, following the advice of his former student Masaru Watanabe (Yuta Yamazaki), decides to interview at "Seishin Academy," a private school run by a certain company.
Coincidentally, the hiring manager was his former student, Ryunosuke Miyazawa (Asuka Kudo), who was looking for a passionate teacher and immediately decided to hire Onizuka. Thus, Onizuka was officially set to return to teaching.
Waiting for Onizuka in his new home were the complacent principal, Yasuhiro Okubo (Takeshi Ukaji), and the head teacher, Koji Nakamaru (Yoshimasa Kondo), who had detested Onizuka ever since his time at Musashino Seirin Academy.
Furthermore, Kashiwabara Mio (Nukumi Meru), the classical literature teacher who is also the assistant homeroom teacher for Class 1-B, where Onizuka is assigned, does not do anything that is not cost-effective.
He belongs to the so-called Generation Z; he's capable and highly skilled at his job, but he doesn't seem to have any passion for teaching or any interest in his students.
Onizuka becomes frustrated when the students are constantly looking at their tablets and not making proper eye contact. However, when he hears from Ryunosuke about a "teacher feedback system" where students evaluate teachers, he changes his tune and takes unexpected action to avoid being fired due to a low evaluation.
