＜Story＞
This is a story about the youth of the Shinsengumi soldiers, centering on the original characters of this work, young soldiers Kamakiri Daisaku (Maeda Kentaro) and Fukakusa Kyojuro (Oku Tomoya), who rushed through a chaotic era like a flash of lightning alongside real people such as Kondo Isami, Okita Souji, and Serizawa Kamo.
After his father was killed, Okajuro joins the Shinsengumi to hone his sword skills and avenge his father. During the entrance exam, he meets a cool boy named Daisaku. Although his origins are unknown, Daisaku's sword skills are outstanding and he is welcomed into the Shinsengumi as a promising new recruit.
As they live together, the two develop a strong friendship, but before they know it, they are at the mercy of the waves of the times and are plunged into a tragic fate in which they must kill each other.
