I've been delighted to announce that I will be releasing my first photo book in my last year as a teenager! Thank you so much! I never thought the day would come when I would be releasing a photo book, so I'm more surprised than you all.
When I was thinking about where to set the photos for my first photobook, the first thing that came to mind was my hometown, Nagasaki Prefecture. I wanted to create a precious book in a place I love, and my wish was granted. I wanted to use the photobook as an opportunity to experience new charms of Nagasaki, so I deliberately shot in places I had never been to before. And yet, there was a sense of nostalgia and comfort, and it was simply fun.
Because the story is set in Nagasaki, I think this book is packed with the real me that I've never shown before, as well as my past and future. I hope you'll pick up a copy!
