The long-awaited first photo book of actor Taisuke Niihara, who continues to appear in popular films and stage productions, has been announced for release.
For this work, he teamed up with photographer U Hiroshi Manaka, who has worked on numerous advertisements, and forgot about playing a role, instead focusing on the energy that emanates from him. This photo collection boldly captures the charm of his 25-year life, which flickers and then burns fiercely like a flame, and exposes the person that is Taisuke Niihara.
The book design, which features a large format that allows the reader to feel the depictions directly, was done by Yurie Hata.
The exhibition was produced by JKWang, who has produced photo exhibitions such as "The Actresses I Wanted to Photograph."
