[Synopsis]
Subaru Tendo (Ren Nagase) is the heir to the huge apparel manufacturer "Fukuten," which is said to have a total asset of 300 billion yen. He lost his parents at an early age and was raised spoiled by his grandfather, Wataru Tendo (Takashi Kaga), the company president.
He is a rich boy with outstanding looks, but on the other hand, he is full of flaws and extremely conceited. Subaru has started two businesses with his best friend, Kusakabe Yuya (Nishihata Daigo), who is the only person who understands him, and with a large amount of investment from Wataru, but both have failed. With no business plan or management strategy, he also fails at his third company, which was mocked by those around him as a "plaything." Wataru finally gives him the final push, ordering him to join "Hukuten" through connections and start over as a working adult.
On his first day at work, Subaru, dressed in his usual high-end branded clothes, attends the new employee training session with the feeling of being a celebrity still hanging over him. He attracts the attention of all the employees, and is already feeling self-conscious, thinking that it is his good looks that are making the women excited. But then his instructor, Hanakura Madoka (Yamashita Mizuki), approaches him and dismisses Subaru's outfit, which is inappropriate for the time, place and occasion, calling it "lame." After experiencing this humiliation, Subaru is forced to change into an older model suit from the company, and becomes increasingly irritated, thinking that he has never even been scolded by a teacher before...
That night, at Wataru's command, Subaru moves to an old apartment in the company dormitory, where he struggles to adapt to the life of an ordinary person for the first time in his life.
While listening to loud music to distract himself, the person next door comes storming in. It's Madoka, who had scolded him earlier in the day!
