【story】
On that day, humanity remembered.
Over a hundred years ago, giants suddenly appeared, devoured most of humanity, and civilization collapsed.

Those who survived this great titan war built three huge walls to prevent the titans from invading, securing a living space within and maintaining peace. However, even though the walls have not been destroyed for a hundred years, there is no guarantee that they will not be destroyed today.

Eren dreams of a world outside the walls that he has never seen, and grows increasingly frustrated with the people who live peacefully within the walls. But one day, that everyday life comes crashing down.

The wall was destroyed by an unexpected Colossal Titan, and countless Titans entered the wall through the hole. People were devoured mercilessly. Their death cries echoed throughout the area. The price of long years of peace was paid in tragedy.

Two years later, humanity is forced to retreat from their field of operations and forms a survey team armed with anti-Titan weapons, the 3D Maneuver Gear. In order to reclaim the land that was stolen from them, they embark on a mission to repair the outer wall. In the middle of this desperate march, Eren is wounded in a sudden attack by a Titan, but while shielding his friend Armin, he is swallowed by the Titan.
