【story】
Tsubasa Ono, a beginner trumpet player, enrolls in Hakusho High School, a prestigious school for brass bands. Unable to keep up with the high-level training aimed at the national tournament, she nearly gives up countless times. Her classmate, Daisuke Yamada, a member of the baseball team, encourages her. The two encourage each other toward their dreams, and make a promise. Before she knew it, Tsubasa had begun to develop feelings for Daisuke. In the summer of her first year, the brass band cheers on the baseball team as they advance to the finals of the regional qualifying tournament. However, Daisuke's mistake during a mid-game appearance results in the team's defeat. Seeing Daisuke standing motionless on the field, Tsubasa plays the trumpet by herself, resulting in her suspension. Unable to contain her feelings for Daisuke, who visits her out of concern, Tsubasa confesses her feelings to him, only to be rejected. Daisuke, however, cannot forgive himself for crushing his friend's dream. The two pursue their dreams, each with unrequited love, until their final summer arrives. What will become of Tsubasa and Daisuke's love? And where will their dreams lead them?
