<Story>
One snowy night, a beautiful young man named Kikunosuke successfully carried out a revenge killing right next to a theater. Witnessed by many, the incident became a heroic tale. A year and a half later, a samurai named Soichiro, claiming to be a relative of Kikunosuke, visits the theater, wanting to know the details of the revenge...
The truth gradually comes to light as we hear the details of the incident from those who were involved with Kikunosuke. What is the "secret" hidden behind the revenge?
