In January 2018, LOUDNESS released the 27th album "RISE TO GLORY -8118-" for the first time in about 4 years with simultaneous worldwide release. Akira Takasaki (guitar) says, "Although there is a part of returning to the origin, it is an album that pushes into the future. The guitar was the most played in this century." This work is from an edgy number reminiscent of the 1980s. It has been praised by fans all over the world as a masterpiece with melodic and aggressive LOUDNESS-like songs, including songs that incorporate a modern feel.
LOUDNESS, which was formed in 1981 and signed with the American major label Atlantic in 1984, has 5th album "THUNDER IN THE EAST" (1985) and 6th album "LIGHTINGS STRIKES" (1986: "SHWDOWS OF" in Japan. With an album such as WAR ”), a large-scale world tour was realized for the first time as a heavy metal band in Japan. Having gained worldwide popularity, they succeed in creating numerous legends.

After realizing a European tour including "Bang Your Head Festival" in Germany, the LOUDNESS-sponsored event "METAL WEEKEND" was held at ZEPP DIVERCITY TOKYO from September 21st to 24th.
DAY1 (21st) is a one-man live entitled "LOUDNESS World Tour 2018 RISE TO GLORY Triumphal Performance", DAY2 (22nd) is "ANTHEM vs LOUDNESS 90 minutes 1 serious match", DAY3 (23rd) is "LOUDNESS" × RIOT DOUBLE HEADLINER SHOW ”, DAY4 (24th) is composed of“ LOUDNESS & FRIENDS AMPAN RETURNS ”, but what is recorded in this work is the pattern of DAY1 on the first day.
