【story】
I will never forget --- The final battle ends here.
Childhood friends Chihaya, Taichi, and Shin, who always played together. Due to family circumstances, Arata moved and they became separated, but Chihaya, who became a high school student, wanted to meet Arata again, gathered friends with Taichi, and created the Mizusawa High School Karuta Club. "I want to meet Arata. I want to meet and say, 'You've become stronger.'" Mizusawa Karuta Club entered the national tournament in its first year, but Chihaya became the strongest queen in individual competition. After being defeated, he vowed to become even stronger with his club members. Two years later, Arata had been away from karuta, but after seeing Chihaya's passion, he decided to form a karuta club in high school and compete against Chihaya in the national tournament. On the other hand, the Mizusawa karuta club has new members and is aiming for the final national tournament in the third year of high school, but Taichi, the leader, suddenly quits before the preliminaries. Chihaya can't hide her turmoil and sadness... Will Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata be able to connect again through karuta? Now, the last summer that I will never forget for the rest of my life begins.
