Katori Shingo plays a 39-year-old single man who can't get married, with his life-sized charm. Juri Ueno, who is co-starring for the first time, plays a 32-year-old divorced woman who won't get married. This home comedy also features a star-studded cast that includes Nishida Toshiyuki, Kazebuki Jun, Mizuhara Kiko, Arakawa Ryoyoshi, Chiba Yudai, Yanagihara Kanako, Nakamura Anne, and Mizuno Miki.

Daisuke Nagasato (Shingo Katori), a 39-year-old single man who works at a stationery manufacturer, is extremely reluctant to get married. Although he is not unpopular with women, Daisuke is enjoying his single life full of his particular tastes and finally purchases the apartment of his dreams. However, his blissful time is short-lived. His father, Yozo Nagasato (Toshiyuki Nishida), whom he has not seen for years, suddenly shows up at the apartment with his 13-year-old stepson from his new wife.
Meanwhile, living in the same apartment building as Daisuke, 32-year-old divorced single office lady, Kumagai Hanako (Juri Ueno), who works for a major trading company, is also a "woman who will not remarry" with a clear intention to remain single, and is already preparing for retirement. She has a strong sense of responsibility for her job and works hard, but she is also strict with others and has a tendency to complain. However, Hanako's mother, Kumagai Ritsuko (Kazebuki), has retired and started living separately from her husband in Karuizawa, and comes to her beloved daughter's apartment without any prior notice.
Daisuke and Hanako's single life, which was supposed to be peaceful, is in chaos!
However, the powerful "meddlesome" power of their father and mother eventually begins to break down the wall in Daisuke and Hanako's hearts...
