Born in Osaka in 1969. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Product Design in 1993.
Held solo exhibitions at Hankyu Umeda Main Store, Matsuya Ginza, JR Nagoya Takashimaya, etc.
He also energetically performed live painting and held it in Taiwan in the fall of 2011. He also works on mural illustrations for kindergartens and hospitals. Illustrations of smiling animals and children drawn under the popular theme of "I wish you are always smiling." Are used in many miscellaneous items and advertisements.
Adopted on the cover of the Japanese language textbook (Tokyo Shoseki) for the second grade of elementary school from 2015. Published a collection of essays "Tears are one of the smiles" in April 2018. Masterpieces of picture books include "Magi Magi's Friend", "Prara's Tonnerububu", "Matate" (Dainippon Tosho), "Ohana Tsuntsun", "Odeko Pita", and "Ote Tatecchi" ( Kumon Publishing).
