[Synopsis]
The protagonist, Murasaki Shikibu/Mahiro (Yuriko Yoshitaka), is a woman who wrote the bestselling Tale of Genji, a book that has stood the test of time for over a thousand years, during the Heian period. With her feelings for Fujiwara no Michinaga (Emoto Tasuku), her secret passion and her extraordinary imagination, she weaves the story of Hikaru-kimi (the shining prince). This is the story of a woman who lived her life to the fullest in a changing world with unchanging love in her heart.
