Mayu Hotta First Photobook "MY"

This is the long-awaited first photo book from Mayu Hotta, who has appeared in numerous popular works and continues to make great strides as an actress.

Filming took place over five days on location on Amami Oshima and Kakeroma Island. The photos, taken by cutting-edge photographer Ittetsu Matsuoka, capture Hotta Mayu's stunningly beautiful expressions brought out in the natural surroundings, her relaxing appearance without makeup after waking up, and her innocent smile, all of which encapsulate the charm of the "real Hotta Mayu," who is neither an actor nor a model.

In the interview section, Hotta welcomes novelist Keisuke Uyama, whose work she has been a fan of for a long time, and her best friend, who has known her since high school, as guests, for a special conversation that can only be read here. Through conversations with key people who are essential to Hotta's story, you can get a glimpse into her unknown true self and inner thoughts.

I forget the passage of time and that I'm at work.
On the last day, I didn't want to go home.
This photobook contains never-before-seen photos.
It shows the "real Mayu Hotta."
I feel like I was able to show my own unique style, something that I can only show now that I'm 24 years old.
It turned out to be a special book.

Born on April 2, 1998, in Shiga Prefecture.

She won the WOWOW Drama Award at the AMUSE INC. Audition Festival 2014 and made her debut in the entertainment industry at the age of 16. She gained attention in the NHK morning drama series Warotenka, and has appeared in many popular works, including the drama 3-nen A-gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi desu (Class 3-A) (Nippon TV) and the film Kaguya-sama: Love is War.
In 2022, she made her first appearance in an NHK taiga drama as Hina in "The 13 Lords of the Kamakura." From 2023 onwards, she will continue to appear in popular productions, such as the role of the third shogun, Tokugawa Iemitsu, in the drama 10 "Ooku" (NHK General).
