Musician Gen Hoshino has sincerely encountered and absorbed a wide range of music, from jazz, soul, funk, R&B, and pop, to create his own unique sound. He released his latest album, "Gen," which he describes as a living reflection of himself, and this year marks the 15th anniversary of his solo debut. What kind of sounds is he surrounded by, and what kind of scenery is he looking at? Using a timeline of the past, present, and future as a guide, we explore the sounds that have shaped him, the sounds that attract him, and the sounds that may connect him in the future. What is the origin of the love that drives the music created by the man, Gen Gen Hoshino?

[CHAPTER I: Past] A chronicle of Gen Hoshino 's musical life.
How did Gen Hoshino of today come to be? Dividing his journey from childhood to the present into five periods, we look back on Hoshino's life, activities, and musical journey.
[CHAPTER II Present] A visit to Gen Hoshino 's private studio 808, where his "now" is created.
This is the first time a magazine has been able to sneak into the private studio that served as the base for the production of the new album "Gen." We interviewed Hoshino about the space that is filled with his current mood, his favorite equipment, and more.
[CHAPTER III Future] Music dedicated to Gen Hoshino.
A musical gift from 22 people who know Hoshino well as a person and a musician. Along with sharing their stories, we asked each person to choose a song they would like him to hear one day.
