Gen Hoshino, a writer, musician, and actor, has finally published his book "Working Man," a collection of stories from his overworked years. The book includes essays on film, commentary on his own compositions, lyrics with handwritten chords, behind-the-scenes glimpses of his work, and more, all of which pour out his thoughts on "making things = work."
The paperback edition includes a newly written preface in which he describes his current feelings about work, as well as a special interview with fellow working men, Peace's Matayoshi Naoki, recorded about a month before he became a New Akutagawa Prize-winning author!

*Due to the characteristics of the paper quality and surface treatment used, paper products such as magazines and books may have minor scratches on the surface (including cable tie marks), crushed corners, dirt, scuffs, or frayed edges on the top and bottom of the spine due to friction and vibration during transport from distributors and delivery to customers. These are unavoidable when handling products, so unless they interfere with use, they are not considered to be initial defects. If you notice any misprints or missing pages, please contact our customer service.
*Because the obi, bookmarks, stickers, flyers, etc. that come with magazines, books, music, and video works are "promotional items" that are not included with the product, they may not be included with the same product depending on the time of order or arrival. (When placing an order, we cannot accept requests to confirm or specify whether or not an accessory is included.)
Please note that we cannot accept exchanges, returns or refunds due to the presence or absence of these accessories, or due to defects such as breakage or soiling.
