The ice show "Yuzuru Hanyu Notte Stellata" was held in Miyagi from March 7th to 9th, 2025.
This performance, which sends out a message of "hope" from the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, will be held for the third time in 2025.
Led by leader Yuzuru Hanyu, top skaters active around the world also participated, performing performances filled with emotion.
This time, at Hanyu's request, special guest Nomura Mansai (Kyogen performer) was invited, and their long-awaited collaboration was realized.
The main disc contains the final performance on March 9th.
Top skaters from Japan and abroad, including chairman Yuzuru Hanyu, Javier Fernandez, Jason Brown, Shaelyn Born-Tullock, and Satoko Miyahara, will provide first-class entertainment.
Special guest Nomura Mansai performed a miraculous collaboration of "Bolero" and "SEIMEI," astonishing and moving the audience.
The bonus disc includes highlights from the March 7th and March 8th performances, as well as edited footage that allows you to enjoy the spectacular collaborative performances with Mansai Nomura, "Bolero" and "SEIMEI," from a different perspective.
The title of the performance, "notte stellata," means "a sky full of stars" in Italian. It was named after Yuzuru Hanyu's own experience when, on March 11, 2011, he was in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, when the earthquake struck. On his way to an evacuation shelter, he looked up at the sky and saw a sky full of stars that he could not normally see in the darkness of a blackout. He felt a ray of hope in the midst of despair.
The ice show "Yuzuru Hanyu notte stellata" was delivered with the hope that it would "spread hope like the starry sky that shone on the disaster-stricken areas, and bring a smile to people's faces." Please be sure to check it out.
