It has been decided that original merchandise featuring Fukuyama's beloved cats, "Ore-chan" and "Tora-chan," will be on sale!
Fukuyama's hometown of Nagasaki continues to rank among the worst in the nation for the rate of dog and cat euthanasia.
This is due to the warm climate and the many hilly roads where cars do not pass, which makes it easy for cats to live and breed, resulting in a high euthanasia rate.
We have produced original "Me and Tora" goods with the hope that they will raise awareness of the current situation regarding the issue of cat protection and that they may be of some help in animal protection efforts.
All profits from this event will be donated to Nagasaki Prefecture's "Zero Dog and Cat Euthanasia" project.
