It is said that more than 10,000 tons of offcuts are generated in the chopstick production process annually, and most of them are incinerated or discarded without being effectively used.
The "KOFUKU" series is made by combining reusable acrylic resin with scraps of chopsticks that can be used as chopstick rests. It is an item made with consideration for the environment, hoping that it will be reborn as a "valuable product" by reusing the scraps without waste.
