SEKAI NO OWARI member Fukase's long-awaited first solo album is released by the prestigious hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings.
Circusm is a neologism created by combining "circus" and "sarcasm." It's an album that expresses personal stories, contemporary society, and the duality and diversity of media.
It expresses the contradictory situation of living amidst things that are constantly injected and imposed upon us by the media, while at the same time being aware of them and questioning them.
"Amidst the chaos, I suddenly remembered friends, family, and memories of my personal life. This album captures those moments and records them like fragments of emotion." (Fukase)
Most of the tracks are produced by Fukase, but "Jpop" was produced by Jeff Bass and Jake Bass, who worked with Eminem in his early days.
"Bullying Lovers" was produced by Shintaro Yasuda, who has worked with artists such as Ariana Grande and XG.
