SEKAI NO OWARI member Fukase's long-awaited first solo album is released by the prestigious hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings.
Circusm is a neologism created by combining "circus" and "sarcasm." It's an album that expresses personal stories, modern society, and the duality and diversity of media. It describes the contradictory situation of living amidst things that are constantly injected and forced upon us by the media, while at the same time being aware of them and questioning them. In the midst of that confusion, memories of friends, family, and private life come to mind. It's an album that captures such moments and records them like fragments of emotion. (Fukase)
While Fukase produced most of the tracks, Jeff Bass and Jake Bass, who worked with Eminem in his early days, produced "Jpop," and Shintaro Yasuda, who has worked with Ariana Grande and XG, produced "Bullying Lovers."
