[Synopsis]
Shiho (Tabe Mikako) is a full-time housewife who lives with her kind and cheerful husband, Tora (Ichinose Wataru), who works late every day as the manager of an izakaya, and her cute daughter, Ichigo (Nagai Kana). Due to a past experience, she felt that she couldn't do two things at the same time, so she chose to become a full-time housewife, but she sometimes feels lonely spending every day with only Ichigo.
One day, Shiho and Ichigo decide to participate in a "hand play class" at a childcare support center. Shiho feels awkward at the first time in a long time interacting with people other than her family, but Reiko (Eguchi Noriko), a mother who is passionate about balancing childcare and work, talks to her in a friendly manner. However, as soon as Reiko finds out that Shiho is a full-time housewife, she treats Shiho as an "endangered species that has fallen behind the times" to her other mom friends... And then, to her surprise, Reiko moves into the apartment next to Shiho's! An extremely awkward life as neighbors begins.
In addition, people who appear before Shiho include Nakatani (DEAN FUJIOKA), a "father on parental leave" who has a perfect child-rearing plan, and others who are struggling with housework and work in various circumstances. Shiho's turbulent days begin with her encounters with "people on the other side of the river" who she thought had nothing to do with her!
