Is this a case worth me solving?
A high-quality mystery drama starring Oda Yuji as the nobleman Hommoji Saraku, who possesses the wisdom of an IQ of 246, brilliantly solves the difficult cases that plague the world!
The Homonji family is the descendant of a noble family that has studied all kinds of academic subjects for generations. Their wide range of knowledge has given them the extraordinary ability of an IQ of 246, and the 89th head of the family, Saraku (Oda Yuji), is also a genius with an IQ of 246.
The modern world ruled by is too lacking in stimulation, and he is always bored.
"Oh, I'm bored. Is there a mystery worth solving somewhere?"
One day, Wato Kanako (Tsuchiya Tao), a detective at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, is suddenly assigned to the First Investigative Division. However, her mission is to guard the head of the Honmonji family.
He greets Seiji on his new post, but the man is not Saraku, but Kensho (DEAN FUJIOKA), the 89th butler who has served the Homonji family for generations.
Saraku sneaks out of the house in a taxi and happens to come across the crime scene. At a glance, he sees the murdered woman's body and can easily guess the victim's personality and the method of the crime, but he is taken away for riding without paying.
However, because the Honmonji family itself is a national secret, he is quickly released by order of the Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
Meanwhile, upon hearing the news of Saraku's arrest, Kensei visits the Metropolitan Police Department with Kanako. Saraku appears without a trace of anything unusual and accurately predicts Kanako's standard of living and feelings upon first meeting her.
Meanwhile, Morimoto Tomomi (Nakatani Miki), an eccentric forensic pathologist and medical examiner, examines the bodies brought in and narrows down the suspects to a certain extent, but hears from a detective that Saraku made the exact same diagnosis, and decides to investigate the case against Saraku, a man she has yet to meet.
My heart leaps with excitement.
