【story】
[First Extended Special] Episode 1: "The Invincible Man: Special Missions Unit vs. Public Security...A Trap Lurking Behind the Disappearance"
One night, Ukyo Sugishita (Yutaka Mizutani) and Kotemari (Yoko Moriguchi) visit the apartment of Kameyama Kaoru (Yasufumi Terawaki) and Miwako (Sawa Suzuki).
Miwako, who has just started attending a cooking class, has invited Ukyo to show off her cooking skills. The other guest is a woman named Uehara Asako (Kuriyama Chiaki) whom she met at the cooking class. During the dinner party, Asako asks Ukyo, who is introduced as the "Japanese Holmes," to search for her missing fiancé, Makimura Katsumi (Ichikawa Tomohiro).
Meanwhile, Kenichi Itami (Kazuhisa Kawahara) and the rest of the First Investigative Division are investigating the death of a man who fell from his apartment building. The man was a follower of a religious group called "Paradise of Smiles," and it is thought that he may have been pushed off the building by someone.
