[Final Special Part 1] Episode 20 “13-Ransom of the Dead”
An incident occurs in which a message from a criminal who calls himself "13" is delivered to the homes of "victims" all over the country all at once, saying "I will execute the war criminals who made Japan unable to regenerate."
The "war criminals" mentioned by 13 are all deceased persons, and "execution" means crushing the remains.
The victim was a family member whose remains were stolen. The theft of remains has been happening intermittently since last year, but the Metropolitan Police Department covered up the incident because it was unclear.
The reason for this was that the remains of Kimiaki Onoda (Kishibe Kazunori), the former chief of the Cabinet Office, were included.
Based on the series of circumstances, Ukyo (Yutaka Mizutani) requests cooperation from Yonezawa (Seiji Rokkaku), who has a close relationship with Onoda.
Furthermore, Takashi (Mitsuhiro Oikawa) suddenly comes to the special mission section. Good
Meanwhile, Kuzunoha Saizo (Watanabe Ikkei), the principal of the private school Nagatoro Kappa Juku, has taken some action with Mano Masayoshi (Shibasaki Fuga) and other students who are bereaved family members of the victims.
The criminal's purpose and identity are unknown, and a new chain of events continues without any clues. And an unpredictable trap...
