Balming Tiger's long-awaited second full album, "Gongbu," will be released on CD after a three-year hiatus!
At the Music Awards Japan 2026, Balming Tiger received nominations for all of their hit songs that dominated the 2025 music scene, including the NHK drama theme song "Wash Away," the collaboration with Atarashii Gakko no ATARASHII GAKKO! "Narani Narani," and the collaboration with Yaeji "wo ai ni." Having also achieved great success with their appearance at Fuji Rock and a Japanese tour, they have rapidly expanded their presence in Japan and have become a symbol of "alternative K-POP." Now, three years after their previous work, they have completed their long-awaited second album. This work centers around the fictional research institution "Gongbu Korea," and the music, video, visual expression, and live performance are all interwoven into a single worldview. The CD being released this time is an important piece that makes up that world.
