BABYMETAL will be featured on a limited-edition variant cover of Marvel Comics' "Marvel Zombies: War Zone (2026) #1" to commemorate its release in the United States. This special, limited-quantity edition will feature BABYMETAL on the cover alongside other popular Marvel characters.
BABYMETAL joins a rare lineup of collectible items featuring world-class athletes and entertainers collaborating with iconic Marvel characters in official comic book works.
The cover art for this special edition is by Phil Note, who has previously designed covers for numerous Marvel Comics titles. It will be produced in limited quantities and will be available for purchase in Japan from 6:00 PM on Monday, September 7th.
BABYMETAL has provided the following comment regarding this collaboration:
"We are truly honored to have been able to collaborate with Marvel, a franchise that has been loved around the world for many years. To be featured on the cover of a comic book alongside Marvel characters is the greatest surprise for us. We hope that many people will enjoy this collaboration."
BABYMETAL is currently on a month-long North American tour. Following this, they have a South American tour planned, including stadium performances, and will continue to tour around the world until the end of 2026.
