The July 2025 issue of Young Guitar features BABYMETAL!

The cover features BABYMETAL. Their latest and strongest 4th album "METAL FORTH" is complete! We will feature their new album, which takes them into a new dimension and looks beyond METAL!

The first issue features a long interview with SU-METAL, MOAMETAL & MOMOMETAL, discussing the behind-the-scenes stories of the album's production and the songs included. The full story is revealed through an album commentary on "METAL FORTH," introducing the new songs and collaborating artists, a special interview with "Team BABYMETAL" leader KOBAMETAL, and an analysis of "METAL FORTH" guitar playing. The guitar score includes two selected tracks: the smash-hit pre-release singles "RATATATA (BABYMETAL x Electric Callboy)" and "Metari!! (feat. Tom Morello)."

Additionally, the magazine features individual interviews with Luke Takamura and Jail Ohashi, the guitar team behind Seikima-II's new album, "Season II." Commemorating the release of the live album from last year's Japan tour and the 40th anniversary of "MARCHING OUT," Yngwie Malmsteen delves into the "soul of a champion" through a new interview with the man himself, looking back on the time, and an analysis of the performance techniques for every track on the album. The full score for the popular number "I'll See the Light, Tonight" is also included. Also worth checking out are a detailed look at the equipment used during Eric Clapton's 24th Japan tour, and a two-shot interview with new guitarist Shuya Kameyama and Takeshi Ito, the only current founding member of T-Square, who will be releasing the album "TURN THE PAGE!" with their new lineup.

As for equipment, pay attention to the "METAL-1 Grand Prix 2025" which brings together eight metal distortion pedals for a thorough test-play special. Yusuke Hiraga is in charge of the demo performance in a YouTube video. And, the Marshall "Overdrive Series" pedal, which has been attracting attention since its release, will be tested for three consecutive months, and this month, SAKI will appear in the first installment.
