The July 2025 issue of Young Guitar magazine features a special on BABYMETAL!

BABYMETAL graces the cover. Their latest and greatest 4th album, 'METAL FORTH', is complete!! We feature this new album that enters a new dimension and looks beyond metal!

The opening pages feature SU-METAL, MOAMETAL & MOMOMETAL in a long interview discussing the album's production secrets and tracks. The magazine also includes an album commentary on 'METAL FORTH,' introducing the new tracks and collaborating artists, a special interview with KOBAMETAL, the mastermind of "Team BABYMETAL," and an analysis of the guitar techniques used in 'METAL FORTH,' unraveling the whole picture. The guitar scores feature two hit pre-release singles: "RATATATA (BABYMETAL x Electric Callboy)" and "Metal!! (feat. Tom Morello)."

Furthermore, this issue features individual interviews with Luke Takamura and Jail Oohashi, the guitarists of Seikima-II, who are releasing their new album, "Season II." In commemoration of the release of the live album from last year's Japan tour and the 40th anniversary of "MARCHING OUT," Yngwie Malmsteen's latest interview reflecting on that time, along with a full analysis of his playing techniques on every track, delves into the "soul of a king." The popular track "I'll See The Light, Tonight" is included in its entirety with a score. Also noteworthy are the detailed explanation of the equipment used during Eric Clapton's 24th Japan tour, and a two-shot interview with T-SQUARE's new guitarist Shuya Kameyama and the band's remaining founding member, Takeshi Ito, who are releasing the album "TURN THE PAGE!" with their new lineup.

In terms of equipment, check out the "METAL-1 Grand Prix 2025," a thorough test-play feature showcasing eight metal distortion pedals. Yusuke Hiraga will be performing the demo in the YouTube video. Also, a three-month consecutive test-play project of Marshall's "Overdrive Series" pedals, which have been generating buzz since their announcement, has begun, with SAKI appearing in the first installment this month.
