Non-stop live video from the Okinawa performance, the final show of the world tour
BABYMETAL will be touring 25 countries from 2023 to 2024, performing a total of 98 shows, with a total audience of over 280,000 people on their headline tour, excluding festivals and guest act appearances, making this their biggest world tour to date. The live film "BABYMETAL LEGEND - 43 THE MOVIE", which contains footage of their first Okinawa performance, "BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND - 43", which was the final performance of this world tour, was held at the Okinawa Convention Center Exhibition Hall on Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24th, 2024, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Wednesday, December 11th.
The live film "BABYMETAL LEGEND - 43 THE MOVIE" is a movie that will be released in cinemas nationwide from Friday, August 23, 2024, with a wide-screen Cinemascope size and immersive sound that will make you feel as if you are at a live concert. It is BABYMETAL's first live movie that allows you to experience everything from the diverse songs, the unique world view, the production unique to the tour finale, and the overwhelming performance of BABYMETAL that has evolved even further on the world tour. The entire album is made up of live footage and includes the exciting song "PA PA YA!! (feat. F.HERO)", "BxMxC" that shows off a new frontier in metal, "Brand New Day (feat. Tim Henson and Scott LePage)" that captivates with its grand worldview, and "Metari!! (feat. Tom Morello)", the signature song of the new BABYMETAL that has accompanied them on their world tour. As a special production for their first Okinawa performance and the world tour finale, an eisa troupe appeared with drums and a performance where the chants were arranged in an Okinawan version, as well as the anthemic song "Road of Resistance", all 14 songs make this a permanent collection.
The video products will be released in standard Blu-ray and DVD formats for general sale. In addition to the stereo format, the Blu-ray will be the first BABYMETAL video product to be able to play in Dolby Atmos, and the DVD will be able to play in 5.1ch. Also, as a product exclusive to "THE ONE", a limited edition of THE ONE will be released today, September 19th (Thursday) at 6:00 PM, with a special box design that includes a Blu-ray, a LIVE ALBUM CD, a postcard set, an acrylic photo frame, and a cassette tape containing the live recording of "Metali!! (feat. Tom Morello) - 43 ver. -". This product, which comes with a cassette tape for the first time for BABYMETAL, is a limited item of 4,300 sets, named after "LEGEND - 43 (Shisa)".
